Mixed Media Artist

Inspiration

My work is inspired by organic forms, landscapes, mushrooms, autumn leaves, and the way they change, the seashore and what you can find there. I aim to make sculptural pieces that are tactile and visually rich, based on the abstracted real world forms.

Work

As I work, I tend to respond to suggested ideas and projects. These may develop into exhibition items, so that the finished pieces are often once off creations, fulfilling a particular vision.

The work I do is based on my experience of using different materials and processes. The materials both available and appealing are often what lead me into the piece of work, as well as the original concept.

I am a resident artist at the Grid Studios, and have exhibited with the Tantalus Project, 97 Rush, Rugby Artists’ Support Group and Leamington Studio Artists.
