Subverting the Buttonhole

A living piece.

These photos of Buttonhole show it as an upright piece, a truer reflection of it's nature perhaps. Nothing has been changed and yet it looks very different compared to it's lying down presentation as in the Tantalus Exhibition. The large petals are more prominent and the curved stem more apparent.

Buttonhole was also shown in the Rugby Visitor Centre at the entrance to the Museum and Art Gallery building as part of the Rugby Festival of Culture 2011.
