A development from the metal series Motile

I have used flat pieces of aluminium cut in similar shapes to those used in Motile and added texture and shape by hammering. Some of the metal is more reflective, and I have tried to exploit this feature by leaving more smooth surfaces. The material leads and I am happy with that. The shapes remain mostly abstract and I am hoping to be able to combine some of them to enhance the sculptural quality of the work.

So far these pieces represent work in progress and are not presented for sale.
