Mixed Views
The Mixed Views exhibition took place at the Rugby Art Gallery and Museum between the 29th March and the 10th April 2011 in the Floor One Gallery.
Hedgerow and Shoreline
These were my contributions, and both of these pieces demonstrate my preference for combining metals and meshes, and for adding found objects, either on the piece or for mounting.
The aluminium elements are shaped by hammering and textured with additions such as bolts and gold foil. Hedgerow is an echo of the larger Buttonhole, whereas Shoreline is a new piece which sets out to reflect the incoming waves glinting in the sunlight.
